Oh... hey, I’m Amy.
Â
Founder of The Lazy Practice.
I help wellness professionals get found, trusted, and booked without becoming full time marketers.
Because you already have enough going on.
And I’m guessing you did not become a chiropractor, functional medicine practitioner, massage therapist, acupuncturist, naturopath, or healer so you could spend your night Googling,
“why does my website look possessed on mobile?”
Been there.
Hated it.
Ate slightly stale tortilla chips over my keyboard about it. The kind from the bag you already rolled down twice but kept pretending were still fine.
For years, I helped therapists fill their practices with private pay clients through The Lazy Therapist.
And then I realized...
 wait...
This is not just a therapist problem.
Because some of the best wellness people I have ever found were also the hardest to find.
Which feels rude...honestly.
Like why am I on page 7 of Google trying to find someone who can help me feel human again?
Why am I reading a website that looks like it was built between folding laundry and microwaving a hot pocket?
Why do I need detective skills, emotional stamina, and three dirty chais just to figure out what someone does?
The third one was decaf, so everyone can calm down.
It should not be that hard.
I have spent a truly embarrassing amount of money...
Â
...trying to figure out what the hell was going on with my own health.
Chiropractors. Functional medicine. Acupuncture. Massage. Mediums. Cell Core Specialists. Supplements. Protocols. Little bottles lined up on my counter like a tiny wellness cult, all with names that sounded like they could either fix my gut or summon something.
I have done the thing...
Â
That is the part that makes me a little twitchy.
Â
Because so many incredible wellness professionals are out here doing life changing work...
with websites that are giving forgot the password in 2014 energy.
No judgment.
Okay...
...a little judgment.
But lovingly.
Meanwhile, someone louder online is getting booked because their message is clearer, their site is easier to understand, and Google actually knows they exist.
And listen.
That is annoying.
Because the best person should not lose clients just because their website is hiding in a cave with a tiny lantern and no snacks.
Now the team and I help wellness professionals get seen, understood, and booked.
We build the website. We write the words. We help Google understand what you do. We build the funnels. We run the ads.
We deal with the tiny tech nonsense that makes normal people want to close the laptop, eat six stale tortilla chips, and suddenly decide the junk drawer needs a full emotional excavation.
You keep doing the work you are actually good at.
We make sure people can find you and understand why you are the one they want to book with.
Simple. Not always easy.
But simple.
I want someone to land there and think,
“Oh thank God. This person gets it.”
That is the whole point.
Not fancy.
Not overly polished.
Not some stiff little business voice that sounds like it is wearing hard pants.
Just real words that make people trust you.
Random Amy Things
Â
A few things about me, since this is an About page and apparently I am supposed to be the subject.
I love drinking and making coffee...more than seems emotionally healthy...Â
...I also have gone down enough health rabbit holes to need a tiny helmet, a waiver, and one of those little headlamps people wear...when they take camping too seriously.
I believe tacos fix at least part of most problems.
I am deeply suspicious of copy that sounds smart but says nothing.
I like strategy, simple systems, and not making business harder than it needs to be.
I still get way too excited when someone says,
“A client booked because my website made them feel seen.”
That will never not make me happy.
Also, I am not that cool.Â
At the end of the day...
I do not think being loud should be the thing that gets someone booked.
I think people should be able to find the wellness professionals who can actually help them.
Sometimes the only thing standing between you and more of the right clients is a website that finally makes sense, words that sound like you, and a system that helps people find you before they give up and book the person with better lighting, a microphone clipped to their shirt, and one of those captions that says “3 signs your body is begging for support.”
One thing I should probably mention...
Â
I’m not just coming at this as a marketer. I’m a licensed marriage and family therapist who still owns and runs a virtual private practice.
I built The Lazy Client System™ inside my own practice first.
It worked.
Then therapists started asking how I was doing it, and that became The Lazy Therapist.
Then wellness pros started asking the same thing.
That became The Lazy Practice.
So yes...I accidentally became a marketer.
Still a therapist at heart.
Just one who now spends a weird amount of time yelling at websites.
